Hair Cutting
Hair cutting is a precise science and a creative art.
My goal is to create a beautiful hair cut that suits my clients.
The science of precision hair cutting was developed by Vidal Sassoon. His goal was to structure hair cutting so that it could be taught to other hair designers and thus duplicated so that women can have beautiful hair at all times. Vidal Sassoon is responsible for moving the teaching of Hair cutting from an "apprenticeship" environment to that of a structured school environment.
As the Educational Director for a chain of 17 salons, I studied with some of the top educators of Vida Sassoon's organization, such as Trevor Zorby, a five time World Champion hair styist, Alan Benfield Bush and Tony Beckerman as well as with Horst Rochelbacher of Aveda Corporation.
Horst Rochelbacher brought creative artistry to the structured system of hair cutting. I was privileged to work with Horst during major Hair Design Conventions. Horst taught how to bring out the best for each person.
